Hank & Sylvie’s is a bakery, floral, & gift shop with two locations in the Wood River Valley, one in Ketchum and one in Hailey. We offer fresh baked goods, custom floral arrangements and cake creations, and a selection of curated gifts, home goods and cards.

FULL-TIME KITCHEN MANAGER – READ BEFORE APPLYING:
• You have 2+ years experience baking in a commercial setting
• You have managerial experience in a kitchen setting
• You enjoy having a multifaceted job where no day is the same
• You see the value in setting an example for those around you with your work ethic, timeliness, cleanliness & attitude.
• You have a fun, energetic, engaging attitude and disposition
• You are detail oriented, self motivated, enjoy checklists, procedures and are organized
• You have the ability to delegate tasks without micro managing
• You are willing to embrace an ever changing position as our business grows
• You enjoy the process of changing menus and creating new baked goods
• You see the value in continuously educating the staff around you, both kitchen staff and front of house staff.
• Bonus if you speak Spanish
• You have a difficult time taking direction
• You find it difficult to arrive to work on time or early in the morning
• You don't like to stick to procedure, process and standards
• A fast-paced work environment is stressful for you
• You cannot be on your feet for an 8+ hour shift and cannot lift 50lbs

• You have 1+ years experience baking in a commercial setting or working in a commercial kitchen.
• Have the ability to work remain standing for an 8 hour shift.
• Have reliable transportation and can arrive to work on time early in the morning.
• Have the ability to lift 50lbs
• Understand both written and spoken English
• Want to learn more about the art of baking in a fun yet face paced environment
• You have a difficult time taking direction
• You find it difficult to arrive to work on time or early in the morning
